Race Update – IKC Round 3 | Bob Edyvean KA100 Titles

2nd of May 2026

Jeremy kicked off the weekend strong, getting the kart dialled in during Friday practice and building confidence heading into race day. Saturday saw a competitive field of 24 KA3 Junior Light drivers take to the track. Jeremy qualified P9 with a best time of 50.334 — a solid start in a tight field.

Heat 1: Started P9 → Finished P12

Showed strong pace throughout the race. A few small mistakes cost him some positions, but he kept pushing and never gave up.

Heat 2: Started P9 → Finished P10

A consistent drive with good speed, holding his own in the pack. Heat 3: Started P9 → Finished P11 Got pushed wide early in the race but fought back well, showing great determination to recover positions.

Final: Started P10 → Finished P18

A strong start was cut short after an incident on lap 2 sent Jeremy off track, dropping him to the back — nearly 15 seconds behind. From there, he put his head down and charged back with impressive speed, consistency, and determination all the way to the chequered flag. Overall, Jeremy showed great pace, resilience, and consistency across the entire weekend. While the results weren’t what we were chasing, there are plenty of positives to take away and valuable lessons learned. We’ll regroup, reset, and come back stronger and more determined at the next race meet.
