After spending many years trackside as an official, including 15 F1 Grand Prix and 10 Indy’s, then several years as a pit crew, including Dale Coyne Racing (Indy car team), Stewart Reid Motorsport (Australian Rally Championship), plus others. It was time to have a go at being a driver.
This is the fourth year of competing mainly at Ipswich Kart Track, with a best result of ninth in the club championship out of forty-four, in my first year of competing.
2025 was a breakout year with trips to Lismore Kart Track with several podiums, including two wins and a third, with another two wins in the club day challenge at Ipswich Kart Club.

Why do this? Well, it gets me out of the house, and it’s a great way of keeping fit. You get to meet some great like-minded people who are always willing to assist you, and once off the track, you get to sit down and have a good laugh over a cool beverage.
